Small sites (under 20 pages) typically complete in 1–3 minutes. Medium sites (20–100 pages) take 3–10 minutes. Larger sites (100+ pages) may take 10–20 minutes. Results appear in real time as pages are processed — you don't have to wait for the full audit to complete to start reviewing results.

AI SEO Scanner uses a built-in browser engine to fully render every page before analysis — including JavaScript-rendered SPAs and dynamic content. No configuration needed; it works out of the box for all sites.

Yes. When creating an audit, you can choose between three crawl modes: Auto-discover (follows links from your root URL), Sitemap crawl (imports all URLs from your sitemap), or Custom URLs (you provide a specific list of pages to audit). The custom URL mode is perfect for targeted audits of specific landing pages or sections.

Extremely accurate — because they're pulled from real performance measurement APIs in real time. We don't estimate or approximate these values. You get the same LCP, CLS, INP, FCP, and TTFB numbers that search engines use to evaluate your pages.

Every page in your audit receives a Search Indexability Score from 0 to 100, calculated from 12 dedicated checks derived from Google and Bing webmaster guidelines. The score tells you at a glance how likely a page is to be crawled and indexed by search engines — and flags the specific issues holding it back.

The 12 checks cover: noindex directive detection, X-Robots-Tag header analysis, HTTP 200 status validation, robots.txt blocking analysis, thin content detection (200+ words required), redirect chain detection, URL parameter cleanliness, JavaScript content accessibility, sitemap inclusion, page size validation (< 5 MB), response time check (< 3 s), and URL structure cleanliness.

IndexNow is an open protocol that lets you instantly notify search engines — including Bing, Yandex, Naver, Seznam, and Yep — when a page is published or updated. AI SEO Scanner automatically generates an IndexNow API key and guides you through hosting the required verification file on your domain. Once set up, you can submit any page or your entire audited URL list to all supported engines simultaneously with a single click from the Indexability tab.

The Google Indexing API v3 allows you to request priority crawling of individual URLs directly in Google Search. To use it, connect a Google service account with the required permissions once in your project settings. After that, you can submit any indexable page for Google priority crawling directly from the Indexability tab — no more waiting for Googlebot to discover your pages organically.

Yes. From the Indexability tab you can filter pages by indexability status and submit all healthy (passing) pages to IndexNow in a single batch. For the Google Indexing API, you can submit pages individually or in bulk — useful after a site migration, content refresh, or new section launch.

Minimal setup. You need to host a small text file (your API key) at a specific path on your domain — e.g., https://yourdomain.com/{key}.txt. AI SEO Scanner generates the key and tells you exactly what file to create. No server-side code, no CMS plugins, and no DNS changes are needed.

Credits are our pay-as-you-go currency. Every page you scan costs 1 credit. You buy a credit pack upfront and use them whenever you need — no monthly subscription, no expiry. When you start an audit, you set a maximum page count which reserves that many credits. If the audit finishes with fewer pages, unused credits are automatically refunded.

No. Credits you purchase never expire. Buy a pack today and use them months later — we believe you should only pay for what you actually use.

Page audits cost 1 credit per page scanned. Keyword research costs 2 credits for a full keyword analysis. Content optimization costs 2 credits per page. AI Visibility and AI Insights each cost 0.5 credits per page (minimum 1 credit), rounded to the nearest whole number.

No. AI SEO Scanner is entirely pay-as-you-go. We offer credit packs — Starter (50 credits / $15), Pro (200 credits / $49), and Enterprise (600 credits / $129). There are no recurring charges, no auto-renewals, and no contracts.

If your available credits run out during an audit, the audit will stop at the current page and results up to that point will be saved. You can purchase more credits and resume or re-run the audit at any time.

AI Visibility measures how often your brand appears when users ask major AI search engines and assistants about topics related to your business. As more searches shift to AI-powered tools, being cited in AI responses is becoming critical for brand visibility. Our AI Visibility feature simulates these searches and scores your brand's presence.

AI SEO Scanner tracks all major AI search engines and assistants that handle a significant and growing share of AI-powered search queries. We continuously add support for emerging platforms as the AI search landscape evolves.

You define a set of queries relevant to your business (e.g., 'best project management tools for startups'). AI SEO Scanner runs those queries through the monitored AI tools and analyzes the responses for brand mentions, citation position, and sentiment. Results are scored and tracked over time so you can measure improvements.

Yes. When you run an AI Visibility check, you can compare your brand mentions against competitors in the same response context. This helps you understand how you stack up in AI search results relative to your market.

AI SEO Scanner supports email OTP (one-time passcode) login — no password to remember. You can also sign in with Google or GitHub. All three options are available from the login page.

Yes. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. We only crawl pages that are publicly accessible — we don't require access to your server, CMS, or any internal systems. Your audit results and account data are private and accessible only to you.

Currently AI SEO Scanner is single-user per account. Team and agency plans with multi-user access and credit sharing are on our roadmap. Contact us if this is important to your workflow.

You can delete your account at any time from your account settings page. All your data will be permanently removed. Note that purchased credits are non-refundable, but unused credits remain valid until you choose to delete your account.

Not currently. AI SEO Scanner crawls publicly accessible pages only. Authenticated crawling (pages that require login) is not yet supported but is on our roadmap.

Yes. AI SEO Scanner's crawler respects robots.txt directives. If your robots.txt disallows certain paths, those pages won't be crawled. Pages blocked by robots.txt will be noted in your audit results.

AI SEO Scanner identifies itself with a standard user agent so site owners know it's a legitimate SEO crawler. You can check your server logs to see AI SEO Scanner's requests and add it to your robots.txt allowlist if needed.
